What to
expect

We hate that feeling when it’s your first time trying something and you have absolutely no idea what to expect. 

 

This is a general guide to how your appointment will go; 

 

• Come in, sit down, and have a chat, we can’t wait to meet you.

• We will discuss your concerns and your desired outcomes in as much detail as you need.

• We will complete a facial assessment and then discuss the treatment options with you including the aftercare requirements. 

• If you would like to proceed, we begin the process.

• You will then complete a consent form and doctor consultation for your prescription.

• We will cleanse the treatment area with alcohol swaps or an alcohol solution

• Depending on the procedure you are having I may apply some topical anaesthetic and all of my dermal fillers have a local anaesthetic in them. We want to make you as comfortable as possible.

• Depending on the treatment you are having I may mark the area with a white pencil.

• We will take our time; we talk you through the whole procedure and will not start injecting without you being confident and prepared first.

• Most procedures have minimal pain, the lips are generally the most sensitive.

• Depending on the procedure you are having, your appointment time may be between 15 minutes to 1 hour.

• We will then cleanse the area post-procedure and may apply some antiseptic cream and massage the area depending on the area we treat.

• We will keep you for 5 minutes post-procedure to make sure we are both satisfied with the results.
